A Partnership Agreement Between Congress SHIELD and the Palestinian General Union for Persons with Disabilities
غزة – شهدت اليوم مدينة غزة توقيع مذكرة تعاون وشراكة بين منظمة الدرع الدولية – مفوضية فلسطين والاتحاد الفلسطيني العام للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة. تهدف هذه الاتفاقية إلى تعزيز التعاون بين الطرفين لدعم وتمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في فلسطين، وتوفير بيئة أكثر شمولية تضمن حقوقهم وتدعم اندماجهم في المجتمع.
وجاءت هذه الشراكة في إطار الجهود المشتركة لتعزيز حقوق ذوي الإعاقة، حيث تم الاتفاق على تنفيذ برامج ومشاريع تهدف إلى تحسين جودة الحياة لهذه الفئة المهمة من المجتمع، إلى جانب العمل على رفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي بأهمية دمجهم في مختلف القطاعات.
وأكد الطرفان خلال التوقيع على أهمية هذه الخطوة في تطوير العلاقات بين المؤسسات المحلية والدولية، وتوحيد الجهود لدعم قضايا الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، سواء من خلال تقديم الدعم المادي أو المعنوي، أو عبر تنظيم ورش عمل ومبادرات تسهم في تعزيز قدراتهم.
من جانبه، صرح ممثل منظمة الدرع الدولية – مفوضية فلسطين بأن هذا التعاون يمثل جزءاً من استراتيجية المنظمة لتعزيز الشراكات المحلية والدولية لخدمة الفئات المهمشة والمحتاجة، مؤكداً التزام المنظمة بدعم كافة الجهود التي تصب في مصلحة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
كما أعرب ممثل الاتحاد الفلسطيني العام للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة عن سعادته بهذا التعاون، مشيداً بالدور الفعّال الذي تلعبه منظمة الدرع الدولية في تقديم الدعم والتضامن مع القضايا الإنسانية.
وفي ختام التوقيع، أكد الطرفان عزمهما على البدء الفوري في تنفيذ بنود المذكرة، والعمل بشكل مشترك لتحقيق أهدافها بما يضمن مستقبلاً أفضل وأكثر شمولية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في فلسطين.
Gaza – The city of Gaza witnessed the signing of a cooperation and partnership agreement today between Congress SHIELD – Palestine Commission and the Palestinian General Union for Persons with Disabilities. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between the two parties to support and empower persons with disabilities in Palestine, creating a more inclusive environment that ensures their rights and supports their integration into society.
This partnership reflects joint efforts to promote the rights of persons with disabilities, with a focus on implementing programs and projects that aim to improve the quality of life for this vital segment of the community. The representative reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at improving the lives of persons with disabilities.
Similarly, a representative from the Palestinian General Union for Persons with Disabilities expressed their happiness with this collaboration, praising the active role played by Congress SHIELD in offering support and solidarity with humanitarian causes.
At the conclusion of the signing, both parties pledged to immediately begin implementing the memorandum’s provisions and work jointly to achieve its goals. Their efforts aim to secure a brighter and more inclusive future for persons with disabilities in Palestine.
