منظمة الدرع تشيد بجهود المملكة العربية السعودية في تعزيز ثقافة السلام والتسامح والحوار

إننا في منظمة الدرع العالمية نؤكد على أهمية الدور والتأثير المتزايد الذي تقوم به المملكة العربية السعودية في المنطقة، وسعيها المستمر إلى كل ما من شأنه تعزيز ثقافة السلام والتسامح والحوار، وذلك من خلال رؤيتها الطموحة برنامج رؤية المملكة 2030، وحرصها الواضح على تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وتواصل المملكة جهودها الفاعلة في مكافحة الفقر على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي، انطلاقًا من شعورها العميق بالمسؤولية الأخلاقية والإنسانية. فهي تسهم بشكل كبير في تقديم العون والمساعدات الإنسانية للدول الأشد فقرًا والدول النامية، وتدعم المنظمات الدولية العاملة في هذا المجال، إضافة إلى تطويرها المستمر لمنظومة الخدمات الاجتماعية داخليًا لتكون أكثر كفاءة وعدالة، بما يسهم في سهولة وصول الفئات المستفيدة إليها.
وترتكز منظومة الحماية الاجتماعية في المملكة على دعم نظام الضمان الاجتماعي، مع تشجيع المؤسسات والأفراد على الإسهام الفاعل في الأعمال الخيرية والإنسانية. وتشمل هذه المنظومة العديد من البرامج والمبادرات التي تُعنى بجوانب جوهرية من التنمية المستدامة، منها:
القضاء على الفقر والجوع
تعزيز الصحة الجيدة والحياة الكريمة
توفير التعليم الجيد والمساواة بين الجنسين
ضمان المياه النظيفة والنظافة العامة
توفير الطاقة النظيفة بأسعار معقولة
إتاحة فرص العمل اللائق وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي
دعم الصناعة والابتكار والبنية التحتية
الحد من أوجه عدم المساواة
تشجيع المدن والمجتمعات المستدامة
التوعية بالاستهلاك المسؤول
حماية المناخ والحياة البحرية والبرية
تعزيز السلام والعدالة والمؤسسات القوية
تفعيل الشراكات الدولية لتحقيق هذه الأهداف
كما لا يمكن إغفال دور المملكة في التأسيس لثقافة الحوار والسلام العالمي، من خلال المبادرات الرائدة والبرامج الفكرية والإنسانية، وعلى رأسها الدور الحيوي الذي يقوم به مركز الملك سلمان للسلام العالمي، والذي يُعد رافدًا مهمًا في تمكين الدور الوطني والإقليمي والعالمي للمملكة في مجال الحوار والتواصل مع الأمم والشعوب والثقافات المختلفة.
ويعمل المركز على دعم قضايا السلام العالمي، ومعالجة أسباب الإرهاب والتطرف والتشدد وآثاره، كما يسهم في التصدي لحملات الإسلاموفوبيا، ومحاولات تشويه صورة الإسلام وثقافته وتراثه وحضارته، عبر نشر خطاب التسامح والاعتدال، وتعزيز التواصل الحضاري المبني على القيم الإنسانية المشتركة.
إننا في منظمة الدرع العالمية نثمّن هذه الجهود الكبيرة التي تبذلها المملكة العربية السعودية، ونراها نموذجًا يُحتذى به في مجال تعزيز ثقافة التفاهم والتعايش الإنساني، وبناء علاقات قائمة على الاحترام والحوار، ما ينعكس إيجابًا على السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة والعالم.

International Congress SHIELD Commends the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Promoting a Culture of Peace, Tolerance, and Dialogue

At the International Congress SHIELD, we affirm the growing influence and important role that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plays in the region. We recognize its continuous efforts to promote a culture of peace, tolerance, and dialogue—efforts that are clearly embodied in its ambitious Vision 2030 strategy and its commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Saudi Arabia continues to lead meaningful initiatives to combat poverty both locally and globally, driven by a deep sense of ethical and humanitarian responsibility. The Kingdom significantly contributes to humanitarian aid and assistance to the world’s poorest and developing countries, while also supporting international organizations working in these areas. Domestically, it consistently enhances its social services framework to ensure greater efficiency, justice, and accessibility for all beneficiaries.

The Kingdom’s social protection system is centered around a strong social security network, while actively encouraging institutions and individuals to participate in charitable and humanitarian work. This system encompasses numerous programs and initiatives that address key aspects of sustainable development, including:

• Promotion of good health and well-being

• Access to quality education and gender equality

• Clean water and sanitation

• Affordable and clean energy

• Decent work and economic growth

• Industry, innovation, and infrastructure

Equally important is Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role in promoting dialogue and global peace through intellectual and humanitarian initiatives. At the forefront of these efforts is the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language and King Salman Center for Global Peace, which serve as vital platforms for enabling the Kingdom’s national, regional, and global engagement in intercultural dialogue.

The Center plays a crucial role in supporting global peace efforts, addressing the root causes of terrorism and extremism, and countering the negative effects of such ideologies. Moreover, it contributes to combating Islamophobia and efforts to distort the image of Islam, its culture, and its civilization—through the promotion of messages of moderation, tolerance, and mutual understanding rooted in shared human values.
