Dr. Saleh Daher successfully participated in a series of educational programs and workshops organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA). These initiatives involved government officials, policymakers, public sector employees, and other stakeholders seeking a deeper understanding of policy experiences and regulatory innovation.

The programs, delivered online, focused on risk-aware governance and innovative technologies for disaster risk reduction and resilience, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR). They were designed to provide ready-to-use training materials to support the efforts of UN member states, strengthen national capacities, and promote government innovation, with special attention to least developed countries (LDCs), landlocked developing countries (LLDCs), and small island developing states (SIDS).

Dr. Daher’s participation covered a wide range of key topics, including:

• Transformational leadership capacities in public sector institutions in Africa for implementing the 2030 Agenda and achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

• Protection frameworks and digital technology experiences for sustainable development.

• Macroeconomic impacts on developing and developed countries, including the effects of fiscal and monetary policy responses.

• Social impact issues, such as inequality and vulnerable groups.

• Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs): from theory to practical application.

• Science, technology, and government innovation in public governance for disaster risk reduction and resilience.

• Collaborative approaches for effective recovery and enhancing effective policy responses.
