من التهميش إلى التمكين: التنمية تبدأ من الإنسان

التنمية المستدامة لم تعد خيارا، بل أصبحت ضرورة تمس حاضر الإنسان ومستقبله. هي وعد بأن الحياة التي نحياها اليوم لا تكون على حساب حياة من سيأتي بعدنا، وأن ما نستثمره من موارد وما نبنيه من مجتمعات، يجب أن يقوم على احترام التوازن، وتحقيق العدالة، وصون كرامة الإنسان.
حين نتحدث عن التنمية، فإننا لا نعني أرقاما في تقارير اقتصادية، ولا نفاخر بمشاريع ضخمة تفتقد إلى روح الإنسان، بل نتحدث عن تعليم طفل في منطقة نائية، عن تمكين شاب كان على هامش الحياة، عن إنقاذ حقل تربة من الجفاف، وعن يد تمتد لتزرع الأمل حيث ساد اليأس.
منظمة الدرع الدولية تؤمن بأن الإنسان هو المحور، وهو الغاية، وهو الوسيلة. لذلك اختارت أن تضع التعليم والتوعية في مقدمة أولوياتها، وأن تتوجه برسالتها إلى أولئك الذين لم يمنحوا فرصة، إلى المهمشين، إلى من تركوا على أطراف المجتمعات، وإلى من يكافحون كل يوم من أجل الكرامة. عملت المنظمة على دعم التعليم في المناطق المحرومة، وعلى تعزيز الوعي البيئي والتنموي، وساندت جهودا أهلية قادها الشباب في استصلاح الأراضي المهملة، وإعادة الحياة إلى التربة التي نهبت أو أُهملت.
وتدرك المنظمة أن الفقر ليس فقط عجزا ماديا، بل حرمانا من الإمكانيات. لذلك هي لا تمنح الناس المساعدات فحسب، بل تشركهم في صناعة الحل. تنظم اللقاءات مع المجتمعات، تصغي إليهم، تحترم أفكارهم، وتدعوهم ليكونوا شركاء في رسم طريقهم. تفتح منابر الحوار، وتطلق المؤتمرات والندوات والورش التي تنير العقول، وتربط بين التجارب والخبرات، وتخلق مساحات حقيقية للتعاون والعمل الجماعي.
ومن خلال هذه الرؤية، تسعى منظمة الدرع الدولية إلى ترسيخ مفاهيم التنمية المستدامة بجميع أبعادها: الاجتماعية، والاقتصادية، والبيئية. لا تفرق بين مدينة وريف، ولا بين رجل وامرأة، ولا بين مركز وهامش، فلكل فرد حق في الحلم، وحق في العمل، وحق في أن يكون جزءا من التنمية لا مجرد متفرج عليها.
الوعي لا يأتي فجأة، بل يبنى بالحوار، بالتعليم، بالممارسة اليومية، وهو السلاح الأقوى في وجه الجوع، والفقر، والتهميش. لذلك، ومع كل مبادرة، ترسل المنظمة رسالة واضحة: لن يكون هناك تنمية حقيقية ما لم نحملها في وعينا أولًا، ما لم ندرك أنها مسؤولية جماعية، وليست ترفا مؤقتا.
فلنرفع جميعا راية الوعي والمعرفة، ولنؤمن بأننا، رغم كل التحديات، قادرون على البناء. أنتم، أيها الشباب، قلب هذه المسيرة وروحها، فانهضوا، وابدؤوا معركة الوعي، وكونوا ركيزة التغيير الذي يصنع المستقبل.

Sustainable development is no longer a choice—it has become a necessity that touches both the present and the future of humanity. It is a promise that the life we live today should not come at the expense of those who will come after us. What we invest in resources and what we build in communities must be rooted in balance, justice, and the preservation of human dignity.

When we speak of development, we do not mean numbers in economic reports, nor do we take pride in massive projects that lack a human spirit. We speak of educating a child in a remote area, of empowering a youth who once stood at the margins of life, of saving a field from drought, and of a hand that extends to plant hope where despair once prevailed.

The International Shield Organization believes that the human being is the center, the goal, and the means. For this reason, it has chosen to place education and awareness at the forefront of its priorities, directing its mission to those who have not been given a fair chance—to the marginalized, to those left on the edges of society, and to those who fight every day for dignity.
